Molevox™ – Mole, Rat, Mouse & Snake Repellent – Solar Powered for Outdoors (Pack of 2)

Molevox emits seismic waves (vibrations) into the ground that disrupt the sensory system of moles, rats, snakes, and other underground rodents. These vibrations simulate a constant threat, forcing the animals to leave the treated area. Thanks to its three different frequencies, which automatically alternate every 24 hours, the pests don't get used to the stimulus and end up moving permanently.

Each Molevox typically covers up to 700 m² (with a radius of about 15 m). However, the type of soil (clay, sandy, limestone) can affect how the waves propagate:

Loose, moist soil: optimal propagation, coverage close to 700 m².

Dry, compact soil: slightly reduced range (around 600 m²).

Very rocky soil: consider using two devices to ensure continuous coverage without weak spots.

Small garden (< 300 m²) : 1 device in the center or at the most active location.

Medium garden (300 – 700 m²) : 2 devices, approximately 15 m apart, positioned along the infested area to guide moles out of the field.

Large space (> 700 m²) : 1 device for each 700 m², arranging them as here to avoid any “encirclement” zone.

Select the activity point : Locate an active molehill or tunnel. Place the repellent in the area with the most activity and follow a route that allows the animal to escape from the area. Be careful not to surround the animal. (See positioning to follow)

Screwing : Push the device in by hand, pressing on the threaded head until the base is firmly seated (no pre-drilling required).

Orientation : The solar panel must be unobstructed, preferably facing south, to maximize charging.

Setup : Press the power button; the device starts automatically and alternates its modes every 24 hours.

Maintenance : Check from time to time that it is not covered with soil or leaves, and lightly clean the surface of the solar panel.

A full solar charge provides approximately 100 hours of continuous operation, even in the dark. Under normal use, the device remains operational throughout the season without intervention.

Rain and humidity : the case remains perfectly protected.

Low temperatures : The Li‑Ion battery may lose efficiency slightly below 0°C, but remains operational down to –10°C.

Pets: a dog or cat rarely perceives these underground vibrations and is not disturbed by them.

- First effects: moles and small rodents can leave the area within 1 to 2 weeks in optimal soil.

- Stable result: after 3 to 4 weeks, most of the galleries will be deserted.

The time varies depending on the population density and the nature of the soil: the more severe the infestation or the more compact the soil, the more it may take a few extra days.

1. Check that the solar panel is clean.
2. Move the device slightly (a few meters) to target a new activity area.
3. If necessary, add a second repellent to widen the barrier.
