Our devices are specifically designed to emit ultrasonic frequencies within the hearing range of cats (typically 16–60 kHz). While these sounds are generally inaudible to adults, some individuals—especially younger people or those with sensitive hearing—may perceive a brief high-pitched sound when the device is activated.
That said, the device is only triggered after a short detection delay via its infrared sensor, and the emission lasts only a few seconds. If you're indoors or not directly facing the device, you're very unlikely to notice anything. Even outdoors, most people report little to no disturbance unless they are standing right in front of it during activation. You can operate the device with 3 AA batteries with a battery life of 6 months.

Place the device in your garden or other outdoor area where cats are unwelcome. Insert it into the ground about 10cm deep to ensure stability, you can also stand or hang the device according to your preference.

Then just adjust the sensitivity dial to the middle, if needed you can adjust the sensitivity later.

The PIR motion sensor detects animals entering the area and triggers ultrasonic sound to repel cats. Make sure the device is aimed at areas where cats tend to enter. The device is weatherproof, so it can be left outside permanently.
