Our devices are designed to emit ultrasonic frequencies within the hearing range of the targeted pests. Although these sounds are generally inaudible to adults, some people — especially younger individuals or those with sensitive hearing — may perceive a high-pitched sound when the device activates.
That said, the unit only triggers after a brief detection period via its infrared sensor, and the emission lasts just a few seconds. If you are indoors or not directly facing the device, you are unlikely to notice anything. Even outdoors, most people do not feel any discomfort unless they are standing directly in front of the device at the moment it activates. Overall, it is designed to minimise any inconvenience to humans while remaining effective against animals.

AllGuardX is designed to deter mice, rats, foxes, rabbits, raccoons, voles, birds, squirrels, deer, dogs, and cats. It covers many common outdoor pests in one device thanks to its adjustable frequencies.

The frequency dial lets you select among 6 adjustable modes depending on the type of animals you want to repel:

• Mode 1 (23–45kHz): Deer, raccoons, bats, rabbits, rodents and squirrels
• Mode 2 (19–23kHz): Birds, voles, squirrels, cats, dogs and rodents
• Mode 3 (13–19kHz): Birds, foxes, rabbits, raccoons, and rodents
• Mode 4 (45kHz): Bats and squirrels
• Mode 5 (25kHz): Rodents, voles, squirrels, and birds
• Mode 6 (18kHz): Rodents and voles
• Mode 7 (OFF): Device turned off

Turn the knob to the desired frequency range, and the device will automatically operate in that mode when motion is detected.

Please note that if you select a frequency lower than 20 kHz, it may be audible to the human ear. Please try several modes, as each animal—even within the same species—is unique and may have its own level of sensitivity to ultrasound. It's perfectly normal that you can't hear any sounds above 20 kHz; if the red LED is on, it means the device is operating.

Regarding the sensitivity knob, we recommend starting with a medium setting (II), then gradually adjusting it according to your environment (area size, vegetation, frequent traffic) and the results observed.

The Alarm sound feature activates a loud audible alarm; please keep it turned off and use only the ultrasonic feature if you live in a residential area.

The PIR sensor detects movement within a 110° angle and up to 10 metres.
When motion is detected, the device activates for 30 seconds, emitting ultrasound and flashing LED lights, plus the optional alarm if enabled, to help deter animals.
